On an occasional basis, I am lucky to be helped by other freelance editors who help me out during busy periods. This helps Hit Send keep our fast-turnaround promise.

He has assisted organisations as diverse as the Institute of Project Management, Blueline commercial laundry and the Association for Children with Disability to win contracts and secure funding.

Rajan brings to his work a wide range of skills and extensive work experience. His 20-year career in the public service included periods as a trade negotiator, an emergency management adviser in the Prime Minister’s department, and a member of the Film and Literature Classification Board.

As a fellow sole trader, Rajan has also completed major editing projects for dozens of clients, including the Australian Department of Finance and the UN Development Program. He holds degrees in science and international relations.

Jane has been a subcontractor on an occasional basis since 2018, after returning to Australia from working for several years in China. Her background is largely in the higher education sector where she has held roles in student recruitment and career development.

Jane’s editing skills were initially focused on academic material and over the years she has proofread more PhDs than she can remember. However, she now enjoys the diversity of Hit Send projects and has worked on annual reports, grant submissions and newsletters for major organisations.

Jane has also written content for promotional material and websites, and tutored in ESL.
